Ying Thai , finally!

Whenever anyone asks/craves for Thai food in Melbourne, the first restaurant that comes into mind will be ...

YING THAI (2)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At Lygon Street. Neh, address there on their new pink lunch menu.

Why #2? Because it's the second branch. I never ate at Ying Thai (1) before though.

Long time since I had them!! Really good Thai food.

I'm so glad I came Ying Thai with more than just Eddie. Brought my 2 Geelong friends to come. More people, more varieties ~ yessssss..

Finally can order this fish :

Fried fish with loads of chilly on top.

Usually Eddie and I will omit the fish from our orders (only 2 person, cant order much) and only order :

Green curry chicken (MUST TRY!!!!!!!)

Pad Thai (Thai koay teow) and Tom Yum soup...(forgot to take picture of the food)
The dish between green curry and spicy fried fish is the Pad Thai, and the hot pot with flaming fire is the Tom Yam.

Erm blur picture, forgot to check before putting my camera back into my bag and ran off for ice cream.

The next best place to visit on Lygon Street is Fredo's ..for ice cream!!! Just 2-3 shops away from Ying Thai (2)! Another place where people would rave about their ice creams.

Bliss is licking durian ice cream during hot afternoon.
I ordered Durian and Green Tea flavour on a cone! YUmzz. Never like eating ice cream on a paper cup. They cost the same as cones but we can't eat the cup!

Them outside:
L-R : Eddie, Edith , Felicia

After sending Eddie home, us 3 girls head to Melbourne Central for shopping.

On the way, saw some fascinating stuffs on the street i.e:
Cinderella's horse carriage.

Usually they have uglier carriages. This one NICE!

And also...I gasped when I saw this.
A monster !! BFG - Big Friendly Giant!!

Closer shot :
Wonder why are they dressed up like this for? So hot.

There are a few others ..because Eddie's brother took pictures of a giant on his phone, and I said I took pictures of a giant I saw on the road, too. And when we compared pictures..they are two different giants. How many are there? We can never see these kind of things in streets of Malaysia.

After that head on to shopping. I'm in love with dresses now.
Thought of getting this to wear for Chinese New Year.

But expensive, so I took picture of it, only to be told it's ugly (by Eddie, when I showed this picture to him when I got home).Ugly mer? My dad only probably won't let me be seen wearing this dress when he's around me because of my XXXXX.

One of the other dress that I tried (don't comment on my pose please, never inspire to be a model):

Cute. (Eddie like this better, but I like the red one better).

But sigh. Dresses are expensive here. I won't buy them if they are above AUD25 and above. I know I will regret buying them. Learnt from last year's mistake. One dress here, worth two dresses back home. Plus I have so much more to choose from malls back home.

After shopping, bought Boost juice again, went home and practice painting my nails.

Yes, improvement!!

No longer monotoned/boring 1 colour nails. (they look better real life, my stupid camera shows too much details sometimes)
