Life's a bed of thorns ..minus the roses.

My mood is stinking bad. Sigh. Leave me alone.

Since early this year, when we just got back to Australia after our summer holidays, Eddie's neck grew a lump. The parents said it might be lymph node.

Then few months later, it started growing bigger. In July, we visited Sydney , as we all were very ill. Went to emergency room, too. Since that time was the peak time of the swine flu season, with me and Eu Gene first getting very high fever (39c) ...we fear that we might have contracted the disease.

After that Panda and Eddie's turn to fall sick. Eddie went to see the doctor, we waited FOUR HOURS. The damn stupid system Australia have is that you must first see the nurse , and then wait minimum 4 hours for your turn to see the doctor. THAT'S EMERGENCY ROOM YOU KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then on normal days, you want to see doctor, you have to make an appointment. I tried. All the appointments I ever made, need me to wait 4 fucking days at least. I don't even know if I am going to be dead by then at that point of time, but luckily.. I healed painfully slow. Thanks to a call home to my personal doctor, my dad.

How screwed up is this system? Unless we're like almost dead, we can't see the doctor. Some people even make a scene to get medical attention (shout, scream and cry).

Since Eddie went to see the nurse first and ate strong dosage Panadols.... during the FOUR HOURS , the medicine took effect and when it was his turn to see the doctor , his fever has subsided.

So like it's our turn, and we needed to see the doctor anyways, Eddie went in and check on his lump. You know what the doctor said ?

"You come in at 4am to see a problem that has been there for few months?" in a rude tone.

WTF LA. PRINCE OF WALES HOSPITAL IN SYDNEY.

Its like they are doing their job cause it is their job, NOT because they care.

Okay, fine, the doctor checked it unwillingly, and refused Eddie antibiotics. Just gave him a letter to check on his lump.

When we came back to Melbourne, Eddie immediately went to see doctor, bringing the letter. 3 TIMES he went to do blood test, and 3 times FAILED.

GOD! S.O.S. !

1) Can't find his veins, poke until his whole arm like scarred. Call him come back the next day
2) MANAGE TO FIND HIS VEINS, FILL HIS BLOOD INTO THE WRONG BOTTLE!
3) Eddie gave up/ forgot what happened.

I was disgusted. Even a simple blood extraction the fucking nurse don't know how to do/take?

Then he went through so many process , like x ray and stuffs, still they can't find a problem to it. HOLY SHIT.

To those people who think Australia is the land you want to be buried in when you die, think not twice but few hundred times please. Its not what you think it is. Or maybe they treat us foreigners like second class people.

Then like we just got back, his parents said the lump grew bigger again.

Yesterday, I told my mom Eddie's lump grew bigger. She asked where? I pointed it out to her on my own neck (btwn neck and ears) , and her eyes grew big and round, with her mouth/jaws all dropped. I saw her facial expression. I asked her why?

She said one of my auntie that just passed away from nose cancer first found a lump at the exact same spot.

I was alarmed, I quickly pack all my shopping bags to my room , and called Eddie immediately, while checking online for all the cancer symptoms, reading DAMN A LOT OF ARTICLES.

Good thing is they said if the lumps can be moved around and it's soft, it's not cancerous.

BUT if it's bigger than a pea size, we should be worried over it. Eddie's one is like TWICE A PEA SIZE!

sigh. Suppose to go bring him to see my dad today, but in the end he got really high fever. Worse, he found another lump. FHL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and FML!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Fucking HATE Australia.
