A Big Fat Chef in the making.

One day while I was reading through recipes online, I saw a picture that slapped me right on my face:

Pumpkin Pie!!!!

Don't know why I felt like a slap on my face, but does all Pumpkin pie look alike ? Or did CafeWorld copy their animated Pumpkin Pie

from the recipe website that I saw?

LOOK ALIKE RIGHT!!!! Sorry la if all Pumpkin Pie looks the same, cause I've never eaten nor seen any Pumpkin Pie real life before. Don't want to eat also, I don't like pumpkin.

Okay back to the topic. I baked like....a whole lot of cookies!!

Chocochip Cookies + Coconut

This is by far the best chocolate chip cookie I've baked.

Very fragrant and it's CRISPY!! Will share the recipe next time. Kind of in the rush as I am going to the MSD Steamboat Event later.

Those cookies barely lasts a day. Really yummy. Its by Donna Hay bytheway.

Decided to cook something that I've had in my mind for quite some time :

Noodle campur. LOL.

Too embarrassed to say what I was attempting to cook ...because on the day when I am about to cook, the actual noodle for this dish spoilt, and I forgot to buy beansprout. I used noodles that are meant for soup and I substitute beansprout with onions (wtf).

So the moral of the story is, never delay cooking fresh noodles and always prepare a shopping list!

Very yummy actually. Eddie said it's good! Taste like the noodles served in those big chinese banquet. Hehe.

Then baked Chocolate Chip cookies again. Without coconut.
This one is alright, but I prefer the one with coconut.

Baked another giant cookie, but round shape. Always heart shape for Eddie , later not special. But see! his feet near the cookie, damn him!!! He didn't bother to pose with it :@ !!

Immediately after Chocochip Cookies, I bake Butter Cookies again.

hehe, a resemblance of ...? My attempt on Erotic pastry... hahaha.

Nudity is a form of ART okay. I'm not perverted.

Cookie cut them into heartshapes instead as I know it'll be soo..impropriate to serve boobshaped butter cookies.

The end result :2 big bags of cookies!!!

Sugar overload.

Suddenly bake so much because later I am sending my babies (all my baking stuffs) over to my friend for summer :(

And there won't be much cooking or baking post anymore when I go back home (Malaysia) next Sunday - 22nd November 2009.

My house got no oven , I'll be busy interning with Pavilion (KL), my auntie will be snatching the kitchen with me, and ... maybe go to and fro from Penang every weekend as my Penang grandmother is very ill...her kidneys failed her. And she has been constantly asking my mother when am I coming back!!

Sigh. Old age. So much trouble and pain.

I am moving to Box Hill, so packed stuffs till 7am today and feeling so sick. Like going to faint all the time like that. Low blood pressure I guess.

So exhausted nowadays, with cooking,cleaning and catching up with friends.

p.s. sorry for the unclear and dark pictures!! My kitchen light all burnt out (as stated before, I think) and I've been baking and cooking in the dark dark kitchen.
