Friendships...are all quite hard to maintain, especially when you suddenly met a bunch of new ones...few by few, when you first get closer with the first few in one class, and suddenly you got closer to another few new friends in another class, and there's only one of you..it can be seen that you're neglecting the first group of friends.

Then you called them all to attend the same lecture , and then introduced them all together (in hopes that everyone will be close to each other and can go out in 1 gang) ...and when the lecture ends, usually you'd follow and walk with the first group home after the lecture, second group of friends home after tutorials and badminton that's held on every other day..it feels awkward when I am torn between who to follow who home as they are all united in the same place at the same time... and then you joined the third one home , which is the newest of them all and first time following her home.

On the surface, it seems like I'm ditching my old friends for new ones but it was never to meant and will never mean to be that way.
But it always seems to look that way. My friend sms me after that saying I ditched him! :'(

I want to maintain the older but not so old kinda friendship, but yet want to know new people better.

how?
