Kopitiam, Karaoke and Krown's (Crown).

Continuation of previous post.

Eddie and I after getting ready, went to Old Town Kopitiam at Chinatown, Melbourne CBD. Didn't want to join the other people (girls), as they are all childhood friends, catching up for the first time in many years as one of them came from Perth to visit! They probably got a lot of things to talk about and we didn't want to bother them much.

I camwhore while his food came first!

Left : MY Fish Head Noodle; Right: HIS Asam Laksa.

The very first time I ate the Fish Head Noodle there, it was yummy. This time, the quality deteriorated ALOT! Around 2 big pieces of my fish are not fresh (had to throw them because the texture of the fish is out, not to mention the taste, too!) and the soup is too salty. Eddie's Asam Laksa is alright.

Had lunch till about 4pm, and went for Karaoke.

Sing, Sang, Sung.

4 people in total only. I never like going karaoke with loads of people because :
  • the mike will be passed around more frequently (no chance to keep the mike to myself)!
  • might be more shy to sing my heart out, more people will insult
  • the more people, the less your money's going to worth
  • I WANT TO SING!
Overall, I really enjoyed this karaoke, especially halfway, Eddie and another friend had to leave for about half an hour to do something outside (everyone's exam/assignment duedates are approaching, except me, FREEDOM). Just me and this new friend I met, Mei. She's really good in singing, and taught me how to sing because usually I sing mumble like Jay Chow.

I then sang like Jason Mraz (she made me practiced my voice on his song, as my voice is rather low I think). First time people said I'm not bad in singing eh, after that! Sang screamed for 4 hours, and 8pm, headed to Crown to show the Perth girl one of Australia's famous casino.

Camwhored MORE! I LOVE taking pictures nowadays ~

Had dinner at Food Court because we're cheapskate and wanted to save money for expensive deserts at Grecko's, that serves :

THESE YUMMY CAKES!

But we got caught up with talking (getting to know new people ma), lost track of time, and the shop closed in front of our face when we realised time's running late. So can only stare and take pictures of the cake from outside, while drooling :((((( Super sad, I was really looking forward to eating cakes there, and the cake on the right shall be my next birthday cake!

Since no one wants to 'donate' money to the Casino, we walk around the mall in Crowns.

They renovated the whole place, and it looks super beautiful!

Love the new interior. Very very classy. Mr. Crown must have been 'making' loads of money.

After that, went outside to go back home, I cannot resist not taking my camera out and get someone to snap pictures of me, hehe.

Artistic shots eh, especially the one on the right.

Beautiful Melbourne City at night.
This pretty much sums my full day out today, with just 4 hours of sleep.
