A little too proud.

It is wrong, to entirely think that you are superbly beautiful and that people around you are shrek-lookalikes.

Just cause you are being flirted at, looked at, or even people talk to you, doesn't solely mean that they want you, and they want you bad. Doesn't mean that they yearn you, and would die to get you. Nor does it mean that you are the dream everyone wants to dream.

How sure are you that people are not calling you "easy" behind-the-scenes?

Girls didn't want to mix with you because they think you're a threat? I think otherwise, and its probably your pride, with too much confidence, that shunned them away.

I have seen a lot of way better looking girls with loads of girlfriends. Girls admire them instead of thinking of them as threats.

It is already proven (according to this book my dad call me to read), that it is SLIGHTLY easier for good looking people to attract more friends..not to chase them away.

Why didn't that apply to you?

Its not that I am saying you're ugly, but some humility would make you a more beautiful person.
