Just a quickie update.

On Eddie's 21st birthday (actual date 11th April).

The Friday, arrival of Eddie's parents , Winnie and Lyon , too.

I want you to make a picture of me wearing this..... only this . . .

Anywaysssssss, just want to express myself. To be frank, it's quite stressful when I meet parents. Not because I don't like them, but the fact that I'll indirectly feel like a parasite. Eddie's parents in particular. They are really generous people who loves good ( and expensive) food. Believe me, I tried escaping, but to no avail.

Eventhough I've been really busy, knowing myself, I predict that if I don't update soon, photos are all going to be accumulating at lightning speed, especially with eventful Winnie and Lyon in town... it's going to be tougher to update, confusion of all photos, and then I'll just give up updating the blog.

Which is what I don't want to happen, especially when it's all about Eddie's birthday. Not being corny, just got to jot down everything black and white, with date, time, and pictures as evidence, whenever Eddie frame me for being unromantic!! :@

Okay, back to Friday. Had korean in a Korean restaurant I've never eaten before. Food was good, but portion was darn tiny :(. Only took pictures of interesting ones though. Like :

spoon cover. First time I see spoon cover.

Don't see any point in them though.

and triangular udon noodles! I find them cute.

And it's the first time I can put something near kimchi into my mouth. The soup is kimchi-ly. I hate kimchi, and if its a tradition to eat kimchi for koreans, I can't date koreans :(

Then after like 15 minutes walk, Eddie's father want tea, we stop by MAX BRENNERS at Melbourne Central. How not to grow fat ? and told you they're really generous :( which made me feel bad. But I didn't order anything at MAX BRENNERS.

taxed Eddie's Chocolate drink and wafer balls nia. LOVE THIS DRINK. Going to order it the next time I ever go MAX BRENNER.

and this unique Chai Latte with white chocolate.

Thou shall fill the cup through the teapot's ass, not trunk.

After chocolate tea time, Winnie and Lyon reach around 4-5pm.

Then at night, had this really good dinner at SHARK FIN HOUSE. Super famous (and overrated, plus overpriced) in Melbourne. No doubt their Peking Duck is good though. And uh, first time jakun me see living and kicking abalone in the water tanks :( Thought they're some kinda shellfish when I first saw them. Told you I come from a place call kampung.

Right after dinner, had karaoke. From 9+pm till 3am. But Eddie and I ran off at 2am. I sang almost every song, on top of my lungs to try to reach the notes, and my throat almost died on me. I can't sing :( and it hurts to try to sing and reaching those unreachable tone. Thus, I chicken home (cause you know, after singing/screaming/shouting too much continuously, when you try talking normally, somehow you can't seem to control your voice, not really sure how to explain this if you never got it!)

Oh,

surprised them with a free cake. At 11.55am. But after the birthday song, should be 12 am sharp.

LONG STORY, but did not like the cake :( it was free, and not nice. The cheese is not rich enough, the cake is too sour it taste like the sour milk that Santa Claus in Enid Blyton's that I imagined of, and the base is SOGGY! I like crunchy digestive biscuit or oreo cookies as base.

To be frank, the girl who made this cake, don't think she has the gist to do cake business. Maybe not now.....

Okay okay, cake maker was Lynn's (Sern's girlfriend aka Eddie's twin brother's girlfriend) friend who's planning on doing cake business, and volunteering to give us the cake, in return, we have to give feedback. I just think she's not ready, need more practice! It was lemon cheesecake by the way. Too bad, I got no ah heart to tell straight to Lynn. lol. Only people who read this will know how I actually felt about the cake :p

Didn't give Eddie the present early, while the whole of their birthday week, his brother already got LOADS of presentsssssss from Lynn. Made Eddie wait like super long, with his brain cells thinking that I didn't get him anything. Until out of frustration and disappointment, he claim that I'm not a good girlfriend that didn't get him anything.

AND WALAAAAA! :@

IN HIS FACE! made him eat his words.

Unpacking ....

a book and a pencil case (his pencil box childishly got stolen/misplaced)

Still one more to unpack...

Th..e.....pen....cil...case...

STRIKE #2! Swatch Watch! that burnt a deep big fat hole in my shallow wallet.

hehe, everyone noticed he finally has a watch, and they say its nice! :D Will take better photos of it next time.

oh, got his brother, Sern, this :

NAH, YOUR PRESENT!

with a "girlfriend-in-law" ly "love" note inside. At least 50 words long loh.

Okay, tomorrow is Eddie's real birthday bash!
can't wait. Nando's and barbequeeeeee.

will update about today, in the next couple of days. What a longwinded quickie.
