AH, DISAPPOINTING. My churros failed. Here are the steps to failed churros.

first, make the batter...

melted unsalted butter + 1 cup of water.


then mix in 1 cup of flour and 1/4 teaspoon of salt until the batter becomes like a dough.


then let it rest in plastic wrap until cool.

then add 3 eggs in, one at a time, and mix until combined.

Anyway I know it's going to be a failure, cause the batter is sooo watery, plus i bought the wrong piping bag and I didn't have enough oil to deep fry them.


all mashed up and stick together, cause too little space, and too little oil.

take it out of the pan after it's fried until golden brown and sprinkle with icing sugar.

MOST CHURRO-LOOKING CHURROsss.

the last few spoonful of batter, i didnt bother pumping them into the piping bag and just threw them into the hot oil in balls.
ball dough, it tasted horrible.

NEVER GOING TO EAT CHURROS FOR THE NEXT 2-3MONTHS. im so sick of it now. The taste is okay, you know you eat those fried prawns covered in this layer of batter, mine taste like THAT!



on the happier note, yesterday went Universal with Eddie. I ordered something different again! Lamb + tomato paste + fettucine =

the fettucine here are full of colours, unlike back home,only white colour. that's the wrong way to eat PASTA!

and I ordered oysters, to kill my cravings for them

oyster with bbq sauce and some mince meat. I prefer the last oyster dish I ordered, with ham and cheese. mMmmMm... plus vegetable soup and cream next to the oyster dish in the photo. yummy!
